May 16th: Shabbat with our Neighbors--Create an Omer Counter

Saturday, May 16th at 11:00 A.M.

Do a craft at home with your family and then join Rabbi G. and Alexa on Zoom to share and celebrate Shabbat!
We count the days between the holidays of  Passover (when we were freed from slavery) and Shavuot (when we received the Torah.) This period is called the Omer. Craft a tool to help count each day. Sign up online and we'll send you a list of supplies plus optional information on how you can do a socially distant pickup of some supplies in Jackson Heights. Watch Alexa's video demo here and complete your craft at home on your own time. Then join Alexa, Rabbi G. and your Malkhut friends  on May 16th. We'll all share our completed projects and celebrate Shabbat. Zoom link provided after registration. This program is geared towards kids 3-8 and their grownups.

Click here to sign up. We'll send you the Zoom link and information on supplies.

Shabbat with our Neighbors is made possible through a grant from PJ Library, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.  PJ Library provides free books that celebrate Jewish values and culture to families with children 6 months through 11 years old.
