6:30 PM- Midnight.  We have a full evening of study, art, music, mindfulness, cooking, and more. Some activities are designed for us to do all together in our Zoom Room and others  are designed for folks who want a break from screen time. But if you're feeling chatty, grab a slice of cheesecake and pop into the  Zoom Room anytime to chat with the Malkhut community.

6:30 PM Happy Hour with Queens Jewish Project. Get a simple recipe for milk punch and hear about the history of Jews in distilling and bar tending.

7:00 PM Opening Gathering. We’ll sing and frame the evening ahead

7:30 PM Shavuot Radio Hour. Take a guided journey to Sinai through your neighborhood or in your home space. We’ve put together three prerecorded audio “journeys” full of guided meditation, stories, and songs. Stop into the Zoom Room to get the links and then log off for a bit to do one or all three on your own.

9:00 PM Cooking Class with Rachel Bart. Rachel will demonstrate a quick and easy recipe for quiche. Follow along, pop it in the oven, and show us your results later in the evening

9:30 PM Study and Art making. Rabbi G. (Malkhut) and Jennifer Verbit (WJOA) will lead a study and art-making session, engaging with the Book of Ruth, a traditional text associated with Shavuot. This session will combine a short gathering in the Zoom Room to get the study materials and instructions after which participants will peel off to study on the phone with a partner and create art on their own before returning to zoom to share their creations.

10:30 PM Culminating Gathering. More singing, and a chance to share what you’ve learned and created throughout the evening.

11:00 PM Late night music and dance party
