Refugee Shabbat March 5th-6th

This Shabbat morning Malkhut is joining hundreds of congregations across the country to mark Refugee Shabbat with learning, prayer and action through HIAS, a powerful organization that activates Jews on behalf of refugees. Our service will incorporate text study on the Jewish response to the global refugee crisis.

Here are some ways to get involved with this issue:

Advocate to Elected Officials – Send a message to the Biden administration and/or your Member of Congress. Check the “Speak Up” section of this page for the latest resources for taking advocacy action with HIAS

Join the “Jews for Refugees” Facebook Group – Joining this group is a great way to connect with thousands of other committed individuals across the United States and around the world, access up-to-the-minute information about the Jewish response to the refugee crisis, and share actions that you are taking.
