High Holy Day Information

Note: As of August 19th, we've reached capacity for in-person attendance for indoor services and the children's program. There are still some spaces left for our outdoor Taschlich/Shofar service and there's room for everyone on Zoom.  You must register to get the Zoom link. (And if you missed the chance to sign up to join us on site, there's space on the registration form to indicate that you'd like to be on the waiting list.)

On Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur we'll be gathering in-person with limited capacity at St. Mark’s church in Jackson Heights and will also live-stream services on Zoom. Our High Holy Day children’s program will meet under a tent in St. Marks’ beautiful garden, and we have a creative, pandemic-friendly break-the-fast plan in the works.

Rabbi Goldenberg will lead us in Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur prayer, song and study, along with Music Director Kris Wettstein, Rabbinic Intern Emily Herzlin and many collaborators and co creators. Our High Holy Days are a collaboration with Queens Jewish Project and Wandering Jews of Astoria. They're funded by UJA-Federation of New York and supported by Kehillat Tikvah.

Masks are required for all attendees over the age of 2. Vaccinations are required for attendees ages 12 and up.Live transcription will be available for all Zoom services. There is an accessible bathroom on the first floor. Please contact us if you need any other accommodations.
