During the 2020 - 2021 year of the pandemic, we created educational resources for parents and families to use during major Jewish holidays. The goal behind these holiday-themed educational newsletters was to get children engaged with Jewish content away from the Zoom screen. These resources include learning units, music, object-based inquiry, recipes, and fun activities.
The Art Neighborhood
During our 2020 - 2021 academic year, our youngest Malkhutniks worked in collaboration with local artist Lisa Marie Ludwig on creating action figures and decorations to add to The Art Neighborhood, a long standing community art project with over 500 participants worldwide.
Take a look at our students' action figures here.

During the 2021 - 2022 academic year, Malkhut's Education Director participated in several education conferences with our madrichimot (educational guides) and Lisa Marie Ludwig. Together they shared how other classrooms could replicate this multi-lesson project and reach out to other artists and community collaborators.
