Malkhut & Me in Jackson Heights!

Join us to sing, celebrate Shabbat, and make new friends in Jackson Heights! Malkhut & Me is our twice-monthly program for kids from birth through pre-K along with their grownups. It meets on the first and third Saturday of every month. Our Tkiya leader will guide us in an interactive musical session to help families celebrate Shabbat together.

This happens at the same time as our Shabbat morning services.  Parents and children are welcome to join the Shabbat service from 10:00-11:00, and then join the whole community for Kiddush and Motzi.  The first Saturday of the month we also have a community-wide potluck.

Malkhut & Me in LIC!

Malkhut and Me in LIC is our program for kids from birth through age 5 along with their grownups. Once a month on Shabbat mornings, we will learn about Jewish holidays and values through music and movement, and will sing and play together with instruments, scarves, puppets, and more as we introduce our little ones to Jewish life and community. We will bless our kids under the tallit, and say Kiddush and Motzi, and have time to shmooze and connect with other families.

Schedule:

  • 11-11:15 arrive and shmooze

  • 11:15-12 Tkiya music program and Shabbat blessings

  • 12-12:30 BYO snack and shmooze

Families are also welcome at our Shabbat Morning Prayer from 10:00-11:00 before Malkhut & Me.  You can read more about that HERE.
