A Wicked x K-Pop Purim

This Purim, we’re remixing the Megillah into a high-energy pop fantasy where spectacle rules, demons lurk, and music just might save the day. Enter a world of glitter, drama, and defiance, where catchy hooks meet ancient courage and the story we think we know gets flipped on its head. Instead of dressing for success, dress for protest! It's time to scream, "No Kings in Queens!" Come nosh on Korean treats, make some noise, and revel in the fun—and resistance—with your Malkhut community.

Please bring some hamantaschen to share! Non-traditional, creative types are welcome! Please label with ingredients.

When: Erev Purim, Monday, March 2 at 7:00pm
Where: Culture Lab in LIC (5-25 46th Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101)
Who: This event is appropriate for Olim (7th grade) and up.
Accessibility Information: This gallery is wheelchair accessible. Bathroom are also accessible with a single gender neutral bathroom,and men's and women's rooms with stalls.
COVID: Masks are always welcome, but please stay home if you don't feel well or have any respiratory symptoms. Our Respiratory Illness Safety Policies are dependent on current transmission rates, so we'll send more specific guidelines on masking a few days before the event.
