Purim!

Celebrate Purim with Malkhut & our collaborators!

It may feel like we're reliving the same holidays (not to mention some real-time experiences) over and over again, but Purim is the best holiday to turn that feeling on its head! This year, we'll bring some hope, some fun, and even some magic  to change the narratives that we find ourselves reliving. Hey, if "Groundhog Day" could do it, we can, too! Come early to grab a nosh, decorate a crown or mask, and enjoy some festive beverages with your Malkhut community. This event is appropriate for Olim (7th grade) and older.

For our youngest Malkhuniks, it's time to dress up and dance for joy with our musical friends at Tkiya! There will be singing and playing together with instruments, scarves, and puppets as we celebrate Purim together. Come in costume (adults can dress up too). We will have nut-free hamantashen for all! This event is geared towards families with children 0 through age 5 and their caregivers.

Join The Jewish Center of Jackson Heights and Malkhut for a joyous, community-wide celebration of Purim. We will have live Klezmer music by Kvetch, craft tables, face painting, snacks, and will raucously revel as we make noise during our community Purim spiel. Sunday, March 16th from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Jewish Center of Jackson Heights!
