This Chanukah season, we have two gatherings:
Sharing the Light:
An Intergenerational Chanukah Gathering
in Western Queens

When: Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 4 - 6pm​
Where: LIC
Who: This gathering is meant for all ages. Everyone is welcome!
What: Join Malkhut and our collaborators from AdamahNY and PJ Library for the first night of Chanukah! Attendees will visit activity stations, including games, crafts, learning, and will participate in a service project. There will be food, singing and a chanukiah lighting. ​
Chanukah themed
evening of mindfulness
by the light of the chanukiah

When: Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 7 - 9pm​
Where: LIC
Who: This retreat is suited to adults and teens
What: We will gather for meditation, chant, mindful speech and deep listening, while sitting in community in the glow of our chanukiot (Chanukah menorahs). We’ll end the evening with soufganiyot (donuts!) and share stories and poems on the themes of light and darkness.​
